May 5, 2006 Press Release: NIH Launches Clinical Studies Nationwide to Investigate Rare Diseases

Maria New will speak on "Underdiagnosis of Nonclassical Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia" at two "Meet the Professor" sessions on June 7, at the Annual Meeting of The Endocrine Society in San Diego CA ; registration with The Endocrine Society is required for attendance at this meeting. Dr. New will also speak on July 22 at the MAGIC Foundation meeting in Chicago IL and at the CARES Foundation meeting in Indianapolis IN.

Discussion of standardization of Newborn Screening for Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia in all states will take place at a satellite meeting of the National Newborn Screening Meeting to be held in October 2005 in Portland OR .
