About Us

The H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute at The University of South Florida in Tampa is a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center serving among the largest patient volumes in the country. Within the Bone Marrow Failure Research Consortium, the Moffitt Cancer Center serves as the primary data registry center and a major clinical investigation site. Faculty members of the Hematologic Malignancies Program at Moffitt are divided by disease interest groups to include Lymphoma, Myeloma and Leukemia. Our Leukemia Group physicians specialize in laboratory and clinical investigations of marrow based malignancies and Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes. Dr. Alan List is the Program Leader for the Hematologic Malignancies Program. Scientists such as P.K. Burnette characterize the immunologic regulation of bone marrow failure and opportunities for new therapeutic development.
