What is the BMFDC?

Mission Statement

The BMFDC draws on the resources of participating world-class medical centers and the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation (AA&MDSIF) to give patients and their families easily accessible information and support on rare bone marrow diseases. It is our shared mission is to find effective treatments and cures for bone marrow failure diseases through:

  • Patient education and awareness
  • Patient referrals to clinical trials
  • Research
  • Physician education.
