The Penn State Cancer Institute (PSCI) is a unique consortium comprised of the Pennsylvania State University, the Penn State College of Medicine & Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Lehigh Valley Hospital & Health Network in Allentown, and Centre Community Hospital in State College. The mission of PSCI is to promote research, education, clinical care,
and community outreach related to cancer, resulting in cancer research and world-class cancer care being high priorities. The combined institutions of PSCI represent a market share of more than 25% of the cancer cases statewide, more than any other institution in Pennsylvania.
